Most family law matters are heard in the Federal Circuit Court.  The Court is located on the 4th floor of the Northern Territory Supreme Court Building, State Square, Darwin.  The Court shares a Registry with the Family Court of Australia on  the ground floor of the Supreme Court Building.

If your family law case is being heard at the Federal Circuit Court in Darwin and you live outside Darwin, you may be able to attend the hearing by telephone.  You need to ask the Court for permission to do so by filling out a FCC Telephone Attendance Request Form – V4 – March and sending it to the Family Law Registry either by post ( GPO Box 9991 Darwin NT 0801) or email (darwin@familycourt.gov.au).

The Federal Circuit Court goes on circuit to Alice Springs several times per year.  The Court is located in the Westpoint Building, Cnr Railway Terrace and Stott Terrace, Alice Springs.
